About

Erica

Erica is a highly skilled and experienced Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and a proud member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW). Her extensive experience spans community mental health agencies, schools, residential and day treatment programs, and outpatient hospital settings. This diverse background has given her deep insight into the treatment process and the unique challenges individuals and families face when seeking mental health support.

Erica is committed to providing a supportive and empowering environment for her clients as they navigate their mental health journeys. She creates a safe and empathetic space where clients feel comfortable addressing even the most difficult topics, equipping them with the tools and skills they need to take charge of their well-being. Her approach is client-centered, focusing on each person’s unique experiences and goals.

Erica is specialized in working with teenagers, but she also supports adults, children, and families. She specializes in helping clients manage anxiety, depression, OCD symptoms, and self-harm behaviors, while also assisting families in improving communication and supporting loved ones with mental health challenges. Drawing from evidence-based practices like Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Erica takes a trauma-informed and tailored approach to meet each client’s needs.

Outside of her professional life, Erica is a fan of science fiction and comics. What began as a love for comic books in high school has evolved into a passion for sci-fi novels and films, which she enjoys in her downtime. Her creative interests reflect her approachable and relatable nature, both in and out of her work.
