Nikki is a dedicated and compassionate professional with a lifelong passion for emotional wellness, the human mind, and authentic living. She began her academic journey at the University of Toronto, earning a B.Sc. in Psychology with a special interest in neurophysiology. After a successful career in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries, Nikki made a purposeful shift toward a future that aligned more closely with her passions and values.
Her personal experiences with trauma, complex grief, divorce, and the profound journey of being a bereaved mother have deeply informed her understanding of emotional resilience. These lived experiences have further strengthened her commitment to supporting others through life’s challenges, guiding them toward healing, balance, and self-awareness.
Nikki brings a wide array of professional training to her practice. She is an accredited Family Mediator (York University, OAFM), Certified Child Protection Mediator, trained in Openness Mediation and Voice of the Child Practice, and a Certified Child-Inclusive Mediator. She is also a Certified Coach (Canada Coach Academy) and a Certified Mindfulness and Meditation Instructor (McMaster University and HOAME Studio). Her approach is trauma-informed, client-centered, and grounded in the belief that each person holds the power to lead a self-determined and meaningful life.
Nikki offers in-person and online services, and is also a rostered, court-connected family mediator for Ontario’s Ministry of the Attorney General. Her work bridges therapeutic support and alternative dispute resolution, with deep insight into how family law and mediation intersect.
Nikki lives in Oakville with her family and pets. She embraces an active lifestyle and dreams of one day visiting Yosemite National Park. She finds joy in yoga, hiking, skiing, cycling, golf, photography, and the gifts of family and nature.
